Pregnancy changes everything about how a body loads and moves. Back pain, pelvic discomfort, and sciatic symptoms are common — and chiropractic care is one of the safest, most effective ways to manage them without medication.

What we see

We care for pregnant patients at every stage, from early first trimester through the final weeks. The most common concerns are lower back and pelvic pain as the center of gravity shifts, sciatic nerve symptoms as the growing uterus affects surrounding structures, and general discomfort that makes sleep difficult.

We also see expectant mothers referred by midwives and OBs when a baby is in a suboptimal position — not because chiropractic turns babies, but because a well-aligned pelvis gives the baby more room to move naturally as the due date approaches.

Webster Technique

Dr. Steve is trained in the Webster Technique — a specialized analysis and gentle adjustment protocol developed specifically for pregnant patients. It focuses on the sacrum and pelvis, restoring balance to this region. It's comfortable at any stage of pregnancy and tables are adapted accordingly.

Dr. Steve's approach

Dr. Steve has cared for many pregnant patients over his 20+ years of practice. The care is collaborative — he works alongside your OB, midwife, or doula, and is happy to communicate with your care team. Many patients continue bringing their babies in after delivery, and we love seeing the whole family.
