Doctor of Chiropractic · 20+ years serving Massachusetts families
Dr. Steve Jarboe saw a chiropractor because of excruciating back pain at a very young age. After examining his x-rays, he learned that years of high-impact sports had damaged his spine — damage he hadn't realized existed despite the pain he was living with.
He was inspired by how much better he felt and functioned with chiropractic adjustments. That transformation changed everything. He enrolled at Life Chiropractic University, graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1997. He opened his first practice in Georgia shortly after graduating.
Dr. Steve has been a chiropractor for more than 20 years. Prior to opening Community Chiropractic, he had a successful practice in Bedford, Massachusetts. He has been serving the Groton community for over 10 years.
Dr. Steve has trained extensively in newer, gentle low-force and non-manipulative techniques, in addition to traditional chiropractic methods. This gives him a wide toolkit to find the right approach for every patient.
He always performs a complete exam and posture analysis before treating any patient. This means every person who walks through the door receives their own unique treatment plan — not a generic protocol.
Dr. Steve believes strongly in keeping patients involved in their own care. He takes time to explain what he finds, how it affects the body, and what the path to feeling better looks like. No surprises, no confusion.
Adjusting patients from 6 days old to over 100 years old — Dr. Steve's gentle approach works for every stage of life.

A common misconception is that chiropractic involves less rigorous training than medicine. The classroom hours tell a different story. The difference is in specialization: chiropractic programs invest heavily in anatomy, neurology, diagnosis, and radiology; medical programs in pharmacology, surgery, and internal medicine.
