While trying to decide on a course of study for graduate school, Dr. Abby realized that she wanted to be involved in a form of healthcare which addressed the whole person. On a warm autumn day at GrotonFest, she signed up for a consultation at Community Chiropractic. This would be the choice that changed her life. She experienced relief from back pain, elevated mood, increased energy, and an overall increase in quality of life while under Chiropractic care. She realized that these were the results she wanted everyone to experience, and became deeply motivated to attend Chiropractic school.
Dr. Abby graduated in 2013 from Life University in Marietta, GA as a Doctor of Chiropractic. As part of her training, she completed a curriculum including over 4,200 hours of classroom, laboratory, and clinical experience. Included in her studies were anatomy, physiology, radiology, diagnosis, neuroanatomy, pathology, biomechanics, endocrinology, and numerous Chiropractic techniques.
She also specialized in specific chiropractic care for infants and babies. This training has carried over to extraordinarily gentle and effective work with adults as well. Dr. Abby continues to be awed and excited by the results her patients achieve. Her dream is to see her whole community live stronger, healthier, empowered lives through Chiropractic.
Dr. Abby is thrilled to bring this work to the Groton community.
